people content wit just hoppin on itunes and buyin one or two songs they heard on the radio or somethin. they bandwagon hop to whatever song is "hot" at the time.


as far as rap goes....

i partially blame the artists. they wanna put out free mixtapes every 6 months. your "fans" are use to you droppin tape after tape they ALWAYS wanna hear new shyt from you. And if you don't continue to spoil them with new music all the time they hop to the next guy.

its the artist that don't have confidence that their "fans" would buy the album so they release it as a mixtape on datpiff for free. that way it is almost guarantee they will all hear it. and its not cuz you suck or you fell off, its because these new fans don't care about the artist behind the track. to them you're just another rapper with a hot song. they don't care about your album they just want another song to download off itunes. kinda the same mentality as the record labels. they signing artists just for one or two hot singles if they can and then droppin them.
