We should of did that with kyrie wonder why they didn't...

Cause Kyrie and the vast majority of the other young stars don't want to play on the QO, they'd rather sign for their big money extension immediately than play on the QO for a year and become unrestricted.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
2014-15 is the last year of his rookie contract. In 2015-16 they can extend him a qualifying offer to either make him a RFA or he can play on the QO for one year and become unrestricted after the 2015-16 season but that rarely happens with players.

So the most likely scenario is that Tristan will be a restricted free agent in the summer of 2015.

I think they take the chance, I doubt the market will be killing itself to get Tristan. It looks like the Pistons may do that with Monroe and the Suns with Bledsoe.

You don't do it with players of Kyrie's caliber.

But it's not up to Cleveland though, it's up to Tristan. Same thing with Monroe & Bledsoe. Playing on the QO for a year or

If another team offers Tristan a big contract, he's more than likely not gonna play on the QO and take the chance of getting hurt or having a bad season and losing value, he'll more than likely take the money upfront. That's why you can't gamble on a player signing to play on the QO.

Fam, nobody is offering Tristan a big contract, only the Cavs cause he's "LaFamilia" with Bron :russ:

Yeah you're possibly right. But it's still a risk on both parties to have the player play on the QO for a year instead of working out a normal contract and it rarely happens to begin with.

Like I said the likely scenario is that Tristan will be a restricted free agent next summer.

It doesn't really matter since the next season need hey the max but your right he's an all-star and that was before we knew bron was coming.

WTF has Tristan done in this league to warrant big money? He hasn't done nothing to stand out as a PF in this league. The bar has been set high.

Who says hrs getting big money...I think his best offer will be from the Cavs...I'd rather trade him but hers friends with lebron and represented by Paul...I'd and Thompson, Wiggins, Haywood so damn quick
