some podcast guy brought up the new possible trend, because of Exum's story, that elite prospects will skip college and just train

idk about that, you would have to be literally top 10 consensus for that maybe to work.. I would rather just go dleague

D-League is the most viable option, and that would probably be good for the league in general because people would have a reason to watch the D-League. Universities everywhere would freak out and it'll add incentive for them to start paying student-athletes :ehh:.

I bet if the D-League had a few consensus top 5 picks and was littered with many other prospects then basketball purists would :whoo:

You would think Houston has something worked out with Parsons...

Basically, let us try to get Bron, Melo, Bosh, whoever... maybe two of them if they trade defenseless Harden, then they can give Parsons something they've probably negotiated even if they are over the cap...

What would be fascinating is if a team with cap space offers Parsons a deal that he can't refuse at the start of free agency and then Houston has 7 days to match which could potentially fukk them over
3 days now, not 7

Starting to think if the Rockets don't get Melo or LeBron, they'll just trade Jones/Lin/Parsons on a 4/48 deal to us for Love/Martin/Barea

and that's if Love gets moved at all at this point.

You still wouldn't care. Brandon Jennings was a top 10 pick in 2009. I didn't see y'all fiending out to watch Lottomatica Roma games on Saturday afternoon on NBATV.

The guy that watches KU hoops will still watch KU hoops. College fans root for laundry. You still won't care because you'll never have the attachment to the Sioux Falls Skyforce the way you would to whoever your college team is. If star power was what kept college basketball afloat, how do you explain the 275+ programs that don't have stars on it but still get people to attend?

It would be great for the league, but they don't want to encourage that. Too buddy buddy with the NCAA at the moment. Plus, it would take quite a while to match the exposure that college athletics have.

No way martin returns to Houston. He hates mchales and Morey and Mchale isn't his biggest fan. He has a starting role in Minny. I doubt he would want a lesser role in Houston and Morey has dealt with enough knuckleheads recently .....

they don't have the luxury of paying Barea, Budinger, and Mbah a Moute to do that either but they do anyway.
U'd be aight with a package of parsons, Lin, and jones for love? The draft pick would be garbage. I'm aight with it but would rather keep jones...

The irony is u been talkin sideways about Lin salary and it's looking like Minny will have no issue with it if they can get parsons long term...

I'm not alright with any package.
I don't see Minny getting worst though with that package especially if they can stay relatively healthy.. At worst they about the same competitively as last season.

I think Lin would excel their with no pressure. I could see him him doing averages of 15, 6, and 5.

But for whatever reason i. Ups see parsons not being a fan of playing in Minny.....he's clowned other cities like OKC and Portland ffrom the airplane view in the last

15, 6, and 5 playing behind Ricky? :merchant:

I'm not a fan of any move that buries Shabazz on the depth chart. As far as I'm concerned, he should start.
What is yall starting lineup gonna look like?

I have no clue.

Pekovic
Love
Budiinger
Brewer
Rubio

I think Budinger starts only so they can jack his value up and get rid of him.
