This is a confusing deal for both sides.

1) It makes the Warriors worse

2) Knicks would owe Lee 15.5 mil in 2015-16 & then would have to consider resigning Barnes after his contract is up next year

It makes sense to me... between Bogut and Chandler and their injury history, you're ensuring you'll most likely have at least 1 really good defensive center at all times. They don't want to play the prototypical power forward (maybe Green?) and having either Chandler or Bogut on the court at all times makes it much easier to play that way defensively.

This is probably like a Plan D for the Warriors tho

OKC needs to trade 1 or both of these picks, got enough young guys here as it is. Send a pick (or both I don't care) to the Knicks to get Shump since they want a pick & are using him as bait. Use the Kevin Martin TPE to get Dunleavy from the Bulls since their trying to clear money to go after a big name. Split the MLE to sign Anthony Morrow/Mike Miller since we need shooting & Chris Kamen since he can make something happen out of the post every now & then.

Fiser is already gone, Thabo can leave, & Butler is whatever to me at this point. If Kamen isn't an option then keep Hash.

Would be more than happy with that.
