Byron Scott is now the lead for the Lakers job. Awful choice.
I swear if we trade Shump to the Heat![]()

I agree with most of what you're saying. But I'd take Marcus Smart at 7 rather than trading for MCW.He's just as good, if not better, than anyone that will be available with the #7 pick......unless Joel Embiid is on the board.
Surely, Parker/Wiggins/Exum will already be gone.
Vonleh, Randle, Gordon arent better prospects than MCW, who's already shown that he is legit NBA talent.
I'd do the trade

That's just me though. I like what Smart brings, his attitude, and even as a Mavs fan, seeing him in a Lakers jersey would be![]()
and making damn near 13 mil a year.
Austin Horton @austinhorton 26m
Jazz offered Favors & 5th for No.1 & Jarret Jack; Cavs wanted unprotected pick added; Jazz then threw in the 23rd pick. That's what we know.
How do the cavs not take this?
Because Derrick favors makes 12 mil a year
He's not worth the cap hit...

The Sacramento Kings are fielding offers from three teams for the No. 8 pick in Thursday's NBA draft, sources with direct knowledge told ESPN Monday.
Sources said the Kings have two deals that could be done prior to Thursday's 2 p.m. trade deadline to change the draft order and one would be a draft night deal, depending on which players are available when the Kings select.
The three deals would return multiple draft picks and a veteran player to the Kings for the No. 8 pick.
Sources wouldn't reveal the three teams involved in the negotiations yet, but the source said the discussions are more than talk now and the Kings are weighing the offers against the potential four players who the Kings think will be available at No. 8, depending on what occurs in front of them in the lottery.
The Kings have had multiple offers for the No. 8 pick but have settled on these three possible deals.

True, however look at it like this, Jarret Jack will make $6.3 million and Tristan Thompson will make $5.1 million next season.
Favors is without question better than Thompson, makes him expendable and they can shop him around.

Yeah i think if they can get embiid then its a no brainer if it ends up Aaron Gordon or somebody at 5 then no way
Im not the biggest Favors fan but i think he looks a ltitle worse then he is because for one he got picked so high and two in Utah hes being asked to be a franchise player and guy thye build around which hes not close to hes a role player but in Cleveland hed just be asked to play d and rebound both of which ie can do real well not be the face of a franchise
I don't think Parker and Wiggins are going to be some Durant/Bron level prospects so swing for the fences with Embiid. The Cavs supposedly studied film on Embiid and think the back injury may have caused his foot injury, supposedly his foot placement changed once his back was injured.
