Wiz nation.......Channing Frye just opted out.....a stretch 4 is one of the needs and he's the best available.......he revived himself this year, but the suns have a GOAT training staff and his past health issues:whoa: .........but for the right price:ehh:

edit- nvm didnt know he was 31 and opted out 6.8....yeah he's gonna ask for too much

He's gone:blessed:

Terrible defender/no heart/streaky 3pt shooter.

Really fell off during the 2nd half of the season last year.On a young team looking for veteran leadership down the stretch, this dude went into a shell.

If he's not hitting his 3's, he's worthless out there.

Incredible that he opted out of 6.8.Suns must've sent some hired goons at him....told him opt out or else:ufdup:

:whoa: where you hear that from?
An assumption but heres the link

The Sacramento Kings are fielding offers from three teams for the No. 8 pick in Thursday's NBA draft, sources with direct knowledge told ESPN Monday.

Sources said the Kings have two deals that could be done prior to Thursday's 2 p.m. trade deadline to change the draft order and one would be a draft night deal, depending on which players are available when the Kings select.

The three deals would return multiple draft picks and a veteran player to the Kings for the No. 8 pick.

Sources wouldn't reveal the three teams involved in the negotiations yet, but the source said the discussions are more than talk now and the Kings are weighing the offers against the potential four players who the Kings think will be available at No. 8, depending on what occurs in front of them in the lottery.

The Kings have had multiple offers for the No. 8 pick but have settled on these three possible deals

We have been talking

Even before the chase of Carmelo Anthony begins, the Bulls are actively seeking ways to bolster their offense and could move into the upper part of the draft in search of more shooting.

Chicago has had multiple talks with Orlando, both about the No. 12 pick and shooting guard Arron Afflalo, and with Denver about No. 11, but a source told Sporting News that the Bulls have also engaged with the Kings in a potential deal for the No. 8 pick.

Chicago’s focus in such a scenario would be Creighton star Doug McDermott, who averaged 21.7 points and shot 55.0 percent from the field (45.8 percent from the 3-point line) in four years with the Blue Jays. The Bulls also have interest in Michigan State’s Gary Harris and Michigan’s Nik Stauskas, who has made Chicago his home base during the draft process.

The Bulls own the 16th and 19th picks in this year’s draft, and are not eager to bring in two rookies next season as they try to quickly field a contender. Chicago would be willing to move one or both of the picks if they could yield an asset that will help with the team’s scoring woes. The Bulls averaged just 90 points in their first-round loss to Washington, including 69 points in the series clincher.

The Kings saw their future firmed up a bit this weekend when forward Rudy Gay opted in for the final one year and $19.3 million on his contract. They have been among the most active teams in the Top 10 seeking a deal involving their pick.

It's not hard to understand. Utah understands that the players they've been trying to develop have been taking to long to do so, and they may not pan out. Instead of making a long-term investment in them, they decide to blow it up and change the dynamic of their team in order to invent a brand new identity as a franchise. This way, you potentially have a team built around Burke and Parker + seasoned vets which can pay off and become quite exciting, even if short of more than a few playoff berths.
Yeah, but Burks is better and younger than Jack, plus Favors is a solid big. Kanter is the problem on the front line. Cleveland is getting the better end of this deal without question.

2014 NBA Draft Rumors: Sixers, Lakers talking Michael Carter-Williams trade according to report

If the Sixers are going to take either Dante Exum of Australia or Marcus Smart of Oklahoma State like many project, they are going to have to figure out what to do with their current point guard, Michael Carter-Williams.

One of their options? Ship him out West.

According to Chad Ford of ESPN, the Los Angeles Lakers are interested in acquiring Carter-Williams, and could be willing to part with No. 7 overall to do it. Here is what Ford had to say on the Lakers' mindset:

The Lakers have been very active in looking for veteran for their pick. Players like Klay Thompson, Michael Carter-Williams and Thaddeus Young are all interesting to them. This is a team that wants to win now. Randle or Smart could help, but a veteran will even be more ready.

Ford went on to report that the Lakers have a "strong" interest in a potential trade of Carter-Williams and forward Thaddeus Young for the No. 7 pick and point guard Steve Nash.

Needless to say if the Sixers did the deal, it is unlikely Nash would ever suit up for the Sixers. A move to trade Carter-Williams would likely be about landing another lottery pick, and allowing whichever point guard they do take -- whether it be Exum or Smart -- to flourish in their natural role.

The lakers should do this trade and u still can go out and pick up 2 quality free-agents to come in. even though i like randle at the number 7 spot. to get rid of nash will be :blessed:
