After last night I can't see Love getting dealt.

Now Flip can't trade for Klay or Barnes without shytting on his own draft picks
Call me crazy, but wouldn't a Randle/Love swap make sense? PFs thrive in Minny and they take a ton of money off their cap this year. I don't think it'll happen, but it makes the most sense to me if they were gonna move him. Honestly, not trying to be a homer. :whoa:

gets rid of that pek contract and allows you guys to convince love to stay. i think he'd stay if rondo is there.

Dieng >>pek
1. Love's not staying. You don't go out of your way to make concessions to someone who has one foot out the door unless he's your franchise player. Obviously Love doesn't qualify.

2. I love Dieng, but he's not ready to take on that kind of workload. He'll foul out in 15 minutes. He'll get more minutes by default since Pek's PT will get reduced anyway. Besides, look at the Wolves front court. It's just Pek, Dieng, and MAYBE Turiaf. That's all.

Randle effectively costs them Pekovic as well since those two could never coexist.

You're right that PF's thrive here. You could put damn near anyone there and they'll put up numbers. That's why I don't worry about life after Love. A PF in Minny is like a RB in Denver.

And the truth of the matter is that Freeing up Love's money does nothing for the team. It would get reinvested into Rubio. The bench's salary? That's the problem. Brewer, Budinger, Barea, Shved (Russian for LaVine) and Mbah a Moute combined for over $20 mil. That's the problem.

yea, might as well dump him for some picks and rebuild if that's how you guys feel.
The best part is I think LaVine is going to impress people, and @tremonthustler1 will have no choice but to embrace him.

These UCLA guards have been hitting the league with good results.

he doesn't rate well by many models, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't amount to anything. lucky for him he got to live vicariously off odd russell westbrook comparisons.

Would you take a flyer on Larry Sanders in a swap for Pek?

Under Ben Howland.

We'll see how Steve Alford fares. Very good college coach but the best player he's ever produced is Reggie Evans.

Flip talking up all this shyt about LaVine and GRIII but after he trades for Klay and Barnes he'll forget they exist.

Even without it LaVine won't be a semi-significant factor to this team for at least a couple of years. If he was Euro he'd get stashed

No. Dieng will eventually succeed Pek, just not now.

I think people forget that Pek is a 16/9 player at center. Dieng's not gonna do that so soon. Throw in Martin getting benched (for who I don't know-- that could be more bullshyt from Flip) and someone's gonna have to score
