Because if you offer one you will be in limbo for like 10 days until the team matches...the hornets did that bs when the suns offered Gordon.

The cavs may have their eyes on someone else...I think I'd just fling a max at Parsons if he was down but he likely won't even meet other teams...all I know is we need a SF and a Center.

That's partly true, but common sense validates this 'speculation'. By the time Riley works out how Bosh/Bron/Wade move forward together, there isn't going be anything left to fill the spaces in between.

Pau, Deng, Dejuan Blair, Marrow, Jason Smith, Marion. There are players out there.


Now to the second part: Whos to say that they dont already have something worked out? I think people are getting just alittle a head with there will be nothing left part. There wont be big names but there will be players that can help the Heat get back to the finals. Its not like they need a Melo or Bledsoe type of player. They need a little youth & some smart high IQ vets.

They'd have to trade for him to use the TPE. Otherwise all OKC can offer is the MLE.

Fair enough, but you're throwing out logic over some backwards 'it hasn't happened yet' stance if you take that route. For what it's worth, this is the first time I've thought written off the Spurs, in the last half-a-decade. Their window has closed. That motivation for wanting to exact revenge on Miami kept them alive. Age will get the best of them.

They need legit size and athletes on the perimeter. You could make the case for Marion, but he's 36 now. Deng's best days are behind him too. I can't believe Miami didn't make a strong run at Gortat.

Ennis is a player who i think we make the roster. Was our second round pick last year. So im not sure if Beasley comes back.

Jason Smith has legit size & is physical rebounder. Plus has a ok mid-range game & some post moves. Marion last year & in the playoffs should he still has a good two years left which is all the we need. See i like Deng but like i said my biggest fear is how much tread is left on the tires. Because Thibs ran him into the ground. But he is still a ok defender.

We do have our second year player James Ennis coming to play for us. So hopefully he can develop into our version of Deng. He is a long athletic wing, who can shot the 3. His ball handling is a little suspect but can be developed. But he does have some promise.


We werent ever going to really make a run at Gortat. At least not at what the Wiz were going to throw at him. We had no chance, plus he wasnt ever leaving the Wiz to begin with. I remember hearing him say last year he liked what was going on with the Wiz & wanted to stay apart of that.
