They don't have that range that Hawes has. Plus they were never going to be more than fill-ins.They had Kaman and Mullens.

Since he's no longer with the Cavs I'll share this.
Spencer thinks Kyrie is the biggest diva he's ever played with. He couldn't stand that guy. He wore it well in public.

I was convinced that Hawes was going to Portland. Guess Doc/LA and the multiple-year deal was the deciding factor.Lol at Jodie Meeks getting the same money as hawes
Can't believe nobody offered him more than that. Very reasonable considering he's a big man

According to one exec whose team has met with LeBron's agent seems like he's waiting Heat to make a move & they can't.
Same exec feels it's a Miami-Cleveland battle & LeBron is waiting for a team to make a splash.
Feeling is that if LeBron doesn't sign w/ Heat soon that upgrades to bench won't be possible because players are leery of signing w/out him.
If LeBron leaves Miami the prevailing thought is Chris Bosh prefers to stay but suddenly his salary demands do too. Houston a real option.
Regarding Cavs locking up Kyrie very wise from LeBron standpoint knows a young star will be there next 6 years. Cavs still have space too.
Chicken and the egg...one needs to go first...I don't think Bron is leaving but these tweets break down the real problem Miami has right now. Bron wants them to improve the team but nobody wants to sign there until Bron is committed & the longer Bron takes the less quality FAs are there to chose from. He is trying to put the pressure on Riley to do something & until he commits Riley can't really do much because he doesn't know what kind of money he can spend after the big 3 take their part.
