The West is ridiculous.

While in the east...the Hornets might literally play in the eastern conf. finals next season. I give the Hornets props on improving their roster, which can be good enough in the east, but they wouldn't sniff the playoffs in the West.

Depending on what happens to the Heat, I expect the Western conf winner to win the 'ship again. They'll be battle-tested.

The West is like 13 deep and it's a battle for the top to separate themselves, the East is just a cake walk. Isn't Memphis and New Orleans the two most "eastern" western conference teams? Re-align everything and put them fools in the east. Them two can at least be top 6 teams in the east.
