Since bosh gone they might think twice to throw that money parsons way.

Mannn I like Parsons, but to me he's not a $15+ player. I'd like to go after Bledsoe or work some type of trade. These next couple of hours is gonna be huge for Morey

I don't think that was necessarily a bad move then, if they really wanted to keep him. Yeah, they could have had him on the cheap for 1 more year, but them ran the risk of not having him anymore after that. I don't know how it would effect their cap flexibility next year if they let him walk though. Who's out there next year?

I would say that if they weren't planning on adding guys to their team. They were going after Melo and Bosh... both of whom wanted max money or close to the max. If you're adding that kind of money to your roster, why not just lock up Parsons for that 1M and pursue the other guys.

The Mavs basically trolled the shyt out of them, and Bosh's indecision has them on the brink of paying a good role player 15M per season... or losing a key piece to their team. I guess they can always add a Deng/Ariza type, but are they better fits than Parsons was?... for 900K

The Heat are not winning a chip in the next 2 years. Frankly like you say it is the east. They could just barley make the offs, just barley not get to the offs, or make the offs comfortably. Either way they're now losing that pick.

I just think the Heat should go full tank, try to get 2 top 5 picks over the next 2 years. The heat are hopping on a treadmill right now.


Then go all in, in the 2016 FA class. If the Heat can get Melo that changes everything.
