Boozer has an expiring contract and could fit into the cap room the Rockets had hoped to use on Bosh, etc. Bulls have obviously shopped him.

cavs would've made the playoffs last year if they didn't run into injuries, drama, mike brown. a lot had to go wrong for them to miss the playoffs.

real talk, ending up with boozer isn't the worst thing for the rockets whereas it would be horrible for LA

if he somehow helps at all, it can be used as presentation of a better team to sign an elite PF next year with him leaving Houston
