If they match, they can't trade Parsons for a year without his consent. Plus they can't trade him to the team that made the offer(Dallas), or do a sign & trade with him. Houston would be stuck with 2 starting SFs til December or so, when they can trade Ariza.

But can they trade for ariza they need a SF/PG/PF and at all those positions they have decent players with potential. I thought deng would be the best fit as he doesn't need to score
