They should have Rubio in the SL concentrating on bring a scoring guard.

That has never been his game and frankly he just isn't cut from that cloth. Dude needs to have the ball in his hands and create for others...That's where he's elite.
Dudes don't understand Rubio's game, they only hear about his weaknesses. If Rubio could shoot over 35% from 3 consistently then his game would be complete, that's the only thing he really needs.

I understand that but a few reps with him looking to score more would improve his ability to create off he became a scoring threat from bring a knockdown shooter to being able to about score off the dribble.
Just him bring a threat would open up scoring opportunities for other players.

3 point shooting is the only thing Rubio needs to be an effective point guard. He doesn't need to be a 20 point threat every night, just be able to shoot so then people have no reason to play off him on defense.
