The Timberwolves would reportedly rather have Klay Thompson than Andrew Wiggins in a deal for Kevin Love.

The Timberwolves reportedly see Thompson as "more ready" to contribute immediately than Wiggins, however the Warriors remain firm in their stance that they're unwilling to part with Thompson. The Cavs too have refuted reports that they are willing to include Wiggins, and the Summer of Love remains at a standstill.

Flip isn't about building for the future he wants an 8 seed at all costs so klay not only would stop u from getting a high lotto pick but they'll probably overpay and give him the max next year

They are starting Shabazz at the 3 because he is their best option and seriously think they can leap frog a year older, deeper Phoenix, New Orleans healthy with Asik, a deeper Sacramento, a psychotic, desperate Kobe and one of Dallas, Portland, Memphis or Golden State without Kevin Love?:mjlol::mindblown:

This shyt kills me. Instead of doing his job as a General Manager, this piece of shyt is General Managing like his coaching job is actually on the line :snoop:

For the Klay trade to work, he would have to be a top-5 scorer in the league and he and Rubio would NEED to be best defensive backcourt for that trade and the ensuing max we pay him to be even close to worth it.

Wiggins may not and may have never been on the table but if he is, that's the kind of player who can turn your franchise around. He's not a Durant type, but if he develops to what people think, that's a position locked down for years at what is one of the strongest positions in the league.

It's gotta be more posturing though. Right? RIGHT?:damn:

he's not going to win now. he's not going to be able to draw big free agents away from other teams for less. its just better for the franchise to be excited about a potential franchise player in Wiggins than maxing out Klay. it should be simple

What in the entire fukk? Why would they waive him? I hope someone picks him up.

Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Indiana, Milwaukee, Knicks, Magic are all teams that could use him.

This makes 0 sense.

They're making room to sign Boozer or Nick Young

by saving $500k to the salary cap

I think LAL is trying to do one more move to get a SF with their room exception...

They will def bring him back if he clears waivers

I'd love to bring him back to DC and have him learn behind old man Dre Miller...

I was tracking on that..but he should not clear waivers...it's over 5 teams who could use him...a PG who can run the offense and get others involved who doesn't need to score to be effective may get burned on defense but has a high bball iq.

If I was Marshall I wouldn't want to come back unless I have no other choice.
