Damn Heyward Bey signing with the team that laid him out with a career threatening hit 2 seasons ago.

I remember watching the game live :wow:

NYC (but PGH will forever be home)
Yeoooo
How in the world do we go from the least active team in FA for the last 25 years to one of the most ?:pachaha:

Colbert got a lil' bit of salary cap and went cray:deadmanny:

As for DHB- even if he is limited to KR/PR to spare A.Brown, he is worth the $$. We can also use him as a decoy also, like a poor mans Percy Harvin. This is a good thing.

So for the most part- are depth is pretty solid all across the board (except DLine)... All we need now is to find playmakers in the draft:obama:

Seems like we're going DB in the 1st Round, seems like we got eyes on a sleepers too. We met with Justin Gilbert at the Combine & his Pro Day.

Like Brock Vereen can possibly play CB or S. There's also Kyle Fuller, who is visiting us this week. Bradley Roby & Jason Verrett has had pre-draft visits. Bleacher Report has said Phillip Gaines is another possible sleeper.

I'm getting excited brehs!

Wouldn't surprise me if Gilbert is the first pick. Now what WR(i'm assuming) would they take in the 2nd?:lupe:

I haven't done my homework on Fuller from VT Tech, but this brethren did

Fuller is the best fit for the Steelers in my opinion and I have said that for a while. He is 6-foot and has nearly 33 inch arm length. At VT he lined up 6-10 yards off the line of scrimmage 56% of the time. (Something LeBeau does with his CBs all most all of the time). Some of the best ball skill in this draft for any CB. Targeted frequently (every 5 snaps) but had one of the best pass defensed rates of any CB in the draft, and the best burn rate. On throws from 11-20 yards he only allow 7.14% of them to be completed, that is phenomenal. On throws of 6-10 yards he only allowed 28% to be completed which is very good, while still having a slightly below average allowed completion percentage on 20+ yard throws.

Those measurement and statistics along with Fullers experience in off coverage, exception ball skills and quick feet, scream LeBeau cornerback to me.

:ohhh:

How do we feel about Jarvis Landry in the 2nd or 3rd?

5 ft 11, 205 LBS

Catches everything

Analysis
Strengths
Good balance and body control. Savvy route runner -- uses stems and nods and works back to throws. Confident hands-catcher -- snatches throws off his frame. Extends and high points. Attacks throws and wins "50-50" balls. Makes some spectacular, acrobatic grabs. Good concentration and toughness over the middle. Does not go down without a fight after the catch. Willing blocker. Lined up outside and inside. Likes to compete and it shows. Has special-teams experience covering kicks. Team captain.
Weaknesses
Has a fairly lean frame -- could stand to bulk up and get stronger in order to combat the jam. Lacks elite explosiveness and top-end speed -- does not have an extra gear to take the top off. Average line release, acceleration and suddenness. Could struggle to separate vs. quick-twitch cornerbacks. Large percentage of catches are contested. Lacks ideal height and is not a great leaper. Started just 12 career games.
Draft Projection
Rounds 2-3
