And he failed at it. Therefore he is not a defensive anchor. So if you put someone on your team to be the playmaker and every other possession down the court he turns it over are you calling him a playmaker? Or does that logic only work for one role?
He still would be the playmaker for the team until he no longer has that role. Same applies to every other general role. My question would be to you - out of all the players you consider "defensive anchors", who is at the bottom of that list?

If you have the biggest and most important workload on defense, you are considered to be anchoring the defense for that team. Now stop filling this thread up with irrelevant nonsense.

how about you just admit you were wrong. Calling 2016 Roy Hibbert a defensive anchor is laughable :mjlol:

basically on par with "Lowry >> Kidd"

Outside of Wall and maybe Otto Porter the Wiz don't have a lot of attractive assets and they are quick to trade draft picks...That teams needs a new GM and to go in another direction.
Beal and Oubre clearly are. Otto hasn't shown much outside of the Toronto series
