But he'd still be the playmaker for the team until he no longer had that role. Why are you making this harder than it needs to be? Another question, do you consider Whiteside and/or P.Gasol to be defensive anchors?
i) You don't have to be a center (or start for that matter) to anchor a defense
ii) I'm not asking you to rank centers from 1-30 - I'm just asking you out of the players you consider to be defensive anchors, who would be at the bottom of the list (if you can't decide on one, name as many as you want).
Roy Hibbert is a defensive anchor. And was so good at it that the Lakers went and got another player in his mold.

Unless he can rekindle his game (and remain healthy) from '14/'15, there's no reason for you to suggest he's better than Biyombo right now. Same applies to Noah. Especially since Biyombo will continue to get better and both of those players will steadily decline over the periods of their respective deals.Bismack not better then Mozzy, Mozzy came back from knee surgery too earlier this season and it fukk him this season but Bron got Mozzy this payday from last season production when he was ballin in the Finals...

No, Jim Buss said that he would step from basketball operations if the Lakers weren't contenders in 3 years but I think he might have been given an extra year or this is supposed to be the final year
