Duncan is picking up his player option, but could still retire :mindblown:

Looking like we keeping Diaw
And Pau Gasol looking like top priority too if no Durant or as 1b option
Conley wants to come but Parker being here is a issue

Latest News, Rumors and Speculation on Boris Diaw

Will Tony Parker Scare Mike Conley From Signing With The Spurs?

Source: Spurs' Duncan picks up $5.6M option

And ESPN saying Conley pursue is overstated but not the Gasol one tho

Duncan like get paid and retire if that shyt happens :damn:

Out of all these free agents, i'm most interested in seeing where Whiteside goes.

This dude is a legit center, plays defense and grabs those rebounds.

Miami lost that series to Toronto because Whiteside was hurt in the final two games.

Hawks needs list:
1. Resign Al Horford. Basically only 18 million dollars in terms of cap hold. Critical to resign or everything falls apart.

2. Getting Kevin Durant

3. Resigning Kent Bazemore.

4. Signing Dwight Howard to be our 3rd big man and trading Splitter if he commits.

5. Possibly open to trading Millsap for a qualify SF like Gallinari and a SG like Burton, J. Murray or Harris in Denver.

No. He's not a backup plan. We have 24 million in cap space. Horford is an extreme priority. He will literally only cost us 18 million in cap space till he signs the contract. Having him resigned an extremely leverage move for us.

We really don't have a backup plan if Al gone. He does too much and doesn't have a match on this market for our system.

Now Bazemore is a different case, we do have a backup plan for him.

We might even look at Dwayne Wade. Luol Deng, Jeff Green and trading for a SF are all options.

Naw, Miami literally only got 40 million in cap room and Wade's cap hold is too high. On top of that, Whiteside has almost no cap hold so he has to be resigned with pure cap. Which leaves at most 17 million for Wade. Miami is in the cap bullshyt we were in last year in free agency
