If Walton ends up playing him more than Ingram![]()
There's a high chance that he starts next to Ingram.

Just let him enjoy being a fringe playoff team(and they're not even that), sounds like that's what he's looking forBreh, do you know what short sighted means?
Signing ronnie price and wes johnson isnliterally the definition of thinking long term.
Mozgov and deng are playing for money, so they would have gone to the highest bidder. Nobody else is offering them more than 12-13 mil a year.
Coulda got the gawd jr smith for less than that![]()
Deng is a former all star and has a great reputation. Teams are always looking for locker room leaders. We will have to see about his health. But I can see him being packaged with some assets in the future. I'm not too worried about Deng and Mosgov contracts in the future because I think Clarkson, Randle/Nance are future trade bait. How does deng have a tradeable contract? He cant stay healthy breh.
Even if the cap jumps to 115 mil in18/19 deng is still eating 15 percent of the cap at 33 years old with no legs.
Hopefully they have 4th year team options on deng and mozgov

people just hating on the lakers as usual. If DD signed with us theyd clown. I like the way the teams moving and given up on the home run dreamDeng has a very tradeable contract once everything settles down with the cap in a year or 2. Mozgov could as well if he can be a serviceable starter.
Nothing is more important for the Lakers then the development of their young core. They won't be free agent players unless at least one of them blossom in to stars.
Tanking does nothing for this team anymore but get people eventually fired and get players traded.
There's a high chance that he starts next to Ingram.
Signing Price/Johnson is thinking long term...lottery dwellers. Become the 80s/90s/00s Clippers brehs.Breh, do you know what short sighted means?

You are short sighted because you don't realize the young Laker core is the priority and long term investment. The signing of only 1 year D Leaguers doesn't help the young core or move the Franchise forward.

Big Time/2nd Tier Free Agents do NOT want to come to a 17 win team. The Laker pick is ONLY Top 3 protected.
Could a 17 win team have gotten them for 12-13 million in 2016?
The coaching staff had them both high on their list. I'm just worried about those 4th years. Hopefully they are team options

Do you understand how the salary cap works?
Do you realize the lakers dont have their pick next year?
Do you realize theyre locked into a roster of
Russell/clarkson/ingram/deng/mozgov/
Randle/nance/lou will/nick young
As the core that they have to try to win a ring with?

Do you understand how the salary cap works?
Do you understand that the Lakers were 17 win team and have only won 65 games in the last 3 seasons?
"Do you realize the lakers dont have their pick next year?"
So why tank?
So are they winning a ring with a core of
Russell/clarkson/ingram/Prices/Sacres/
Randle/nance/lou will/nick young
That tweet isn't showing anything @KevJ
