One of your 'sides" was totally incorrect, which is reason why you were quoted.
Are you being dense on purpose? Both parties' actions would've influenced what would've happened [Durant's decision], which was the point. Whether you want to believe it or not a FMVP-performance from Barnes would've had an effect on GS's offseason priorities.

There's no "facts" to work off here, because all we have to go off is Barnes shytting the bed in the Finals while the Warriors choked away a 3-1 lead - his play and the Warriors losing affected GS's offseason priorities. If he had a FMVP-performance with GS sweeping the Cavs (winning back-to-back titles with this core group), the Warriors would've lent towards retaining Barnes rather than looking elsewhere.
