I don't care what anyone says, but that in my opinion this is one of the reasons why English teams struggle in the later stages of champion's league. Fatigue. I mean they clearly do lack some quality compared to other top teams,but tiredness has to play a role. In my opinion!!

Premier League had 3 teams in the champions league semi-finals between 2007-2009 whilst playing under a heavy Christmas schedule.
Premier League clubs are simply just now buying trash over quality. These post 2011 squads

@ going from Alonso, peak Torres, Gerrard and Mascherano to Lallana, Henderson, Coutinhio and Sturridge.
