It was a terrible play all together. Martial had a terrible shot that happened to land on Rooney's head. He literally ruined like 5 chances.

My views on match
- we need to move the ball quicker, having slow ass Rooney dictating in the middle of the field does NOT help
- we need more pace around Zlatan....only Martial in the starting line-up offered that
- very solid defensively bar one or two lapses, one of which was costly goal-wise
- Eric Bailly looks sensational, his physicality will help him adapt quicker and he's a well-deserved man of the match
- we seem to have a different kind of confidence that was lacking over 3 years and today seemed different
- players worked hard
- Rooney is pure hairy ass...but he scored at least
overall a 3-1 opening day road game against a very tough and determined team is great
top of the league and that's where we'll stay
