What happened to Leicester anyway? Did they lost players from last season or did the other teams just get better. Why are they so much worse this year?
a) losing Kante made them lose defensive discipline and an important part of their game plan to soak up pressure and counter
b) Vardy and Mahrez are losing steam after having the seasons of their lives last year
c) teams are catching on to Leicester's presence and actively making plans to stop them - the novelty factor is gone
d) it could be argued that they're focusing more on the Champions League and that's reflecting in CL results vs EPL results
e) the big teams are resurfacing to the levels they belong so the PL table has more familiarity to it
still doesn't justify Leicester being 14th but they'll pick it up I'm sure, especially with there being a large lay-off before the Champions League resumes again
