i Agree..However do you really think arsenal will be able to do what Chelsea did..that's a dangerous comparison considering arsenal dont have the talent..the backbone and reluctant to spend..and not much players are lining up to play for wenger..all i have to say is arsenal should get used to being the third best team in London.

I think they can. With 5 changes.

1. Create a defensive backbone around Mustafi and Holding. Creative players (Wenger or not) are attracted to the club.
2. Find a TRUE replacement for Santi Cazorla. Its clear with him they are title contenders, without him they are barely worthy of Europa. No team should have that much riding on one player. I'd love to see a Pjanic type player in this role.
3. A legitimate clinical finisher. This coulda been solved this summer with Lacazette. Now he's going to cost at least 3-7 million more than he would have then.
4. Play Gibbs and Oxlaide-Chamberlain more. They are dynamic, can deliver the ball into the box and with a better striker will be more effective.
5. Get rid of Ramsey, Xhaka and Gabriel. If the move is to play now with a back three and wing backs. I'd prefer Holding back there to Gabriel. Ramsey has under-performed for SEASONS at Arsenal and Xhaka is a complete liability with none of the positives. At least with Coquelin I get a guy who's looking to disrupt the counter more than play a pretty pass...
