2 underwhelming seasons in a row. Chelsea sealed it with that unbeaten run. I am surprised there was talk of Spurs bottling it when they only came into the picture because Chelsea kind of slowed down a bit. Jose must be looking at Hazard and Costa like :gucci: Conte made a back 3 work with a good attack unlike that LVG version.

The only instance that we wont lift the trophy at The Bridge would be if our final game was away and Spurs took the title race down to the wire.

Which won't happen, seeing as our final two games are at home.

Someone had a good night yesterday. :laff:

As you may have heard, Chelsea tied up the Premier League title with a 1-0 win over West Brom at the Hawthorns last night.

The final whistle was greeted with mass pandemonium as Antonio Conte and his battle-weary charges celebrated their momentous achievement.

Central to the chaos, as ever, was Diego Costa, who appeared to fully take leave of his senses in the aftermath of the victory.

Along with the obligatory belly slide, Costa also gave John Terry a fitting send-off by vigorously manipulating the departing club captain’s undercarriage right in front of the television cameras…

He was then front and centre once again as Antonio Conte was mobbed and duly soaked to the bone with champagne upon his return to the dressing room…

Then, after Conte had finally managed to towel himself off and emerge to fulfil his media duties, Costa colluded with David Luiz to ‘abduct’ the Italian coach mid-sentence and drag him bag into the melange…

As the miscellaneous fluids continue to be slung around, footage later emerged of the surly striker yelling at a teammate to “f**k off” while attempting to wash champagne out of his eyes with Lucozade Sport…

Language scholars may notice that one of Costa’s Portuguese-speaking colleagues (most likely Luiz) actually remarks “that is not water!” at the end of the clip.

They say success does funny things to people, which is worrying as Costa was more than partially unhinged beforehand.

What a nutcase:laff:

If United doesn't get into Champions league and Mourinhos still the coach I won't watch a single game next year. I could honestly say I did not enjoy any of the wins this year because their style is ugly and there isn't one interesting player to watch. Our players have glimpses but when on the attack it looks like we have no purpose.

:russ: Erm the last 23 years wasn't an indication. They always have a great team but don't push themselves towards the end of the season. This season was a fluke, COYG:noah::mjcry::to::sadbron:.

I mean they started the season slowly and did not really become challengers until very late after City and Liverpool imploded. I never thought Chelsea was in much trouble once they went on that 12/13 win streak. Spurs have had 2 distinct periods when they were good, the Modric/VDV/Bale era and post Bale with Pochettino., everything else before that was not really that impressive. They have closed the gap though , at least in the league, but they have not shown an ability to balance Europe and the EPL because their squad is too thin because they don't pay as well as the other top teams.
