2016 and TV's still ONLY have 4 HDMI ports smh

How in modern day are companies still making TV's with only 4 HDMI ports and why? wouldn't 6 hdmi ports be a great number? having to unplug devices each time you want to use them, and going round the back of the TV is a hassle. To the point where I've had to spread consoles around the house on different TV's.

When you need more than 4 hdmi ports, then you likely are better off with a nice theater receiver. Plus people rarely need more than 4 ports.

My brothers in laws got him and his wife a new 60 inch tv cause 3 of their tv's got fried by a lighting strike.

My brother was livid. Tv came with 2 hdmi ports. How is that possible??

Like others have said. Hdmi splitter is the way to go. Cop one for cheap off of Amazon

Vizio 4Ks have 5 HDMI ports. Too bad only one of them is HDMI 2.0
