I think tuitt's gonna take a big step next year. I think him and Cam can combine for 16 or more sacks. And those Shazier/Timmons stunts were looking pretty damn good the latter parts of last season, reminded me of Farrior/Timmons. All we need is Dupree to take his game to the next level and we'll be good.
Yea but I think that the pass rush will improve once the secondary improves. It's hard to get a pass rush when the opposing qb can constantly find receivers wide open after taking 3 step drops. Take the 1st game against Denver for example. They didn't touch Denver's qb much at all in the first he because guys were wide open all over the field. Seems like this past year we had pass rush from all over the field. We were top 5 in the league in sacks with none of our OLB's generating much rush. I don't think that's an ideal situation, but I don't think we're relying on Deebo like we used to. I been saying this shyt since the season ended. Package our pick and our third along with Wheaton or Bryant to move up in the first round. It might sound crazy but we're set on offense, ain't shyt that needs to be addressed on that side of the ball this offseason and right now CB is our worst position.
Move up and draft Hargreaves, resign Boykin and those are the two starters at corner. Mitchell stays on at FS and then move Gay to SS where I think he will be productive. We will then still have Thomas on the team and if you like resign Allen then fill out the rest in free agency and the rest of the draft.
IMO losing that third round pick isn't that bad because we don't have another glaring need outside of that olshutdown corner that will compliment Boykin. For the most part we don't even have any big players who are free agents outside of Boykin and Williams who will most likely resign so do we really need that pick this year? We're also in salary cap hell so that money can be saved and used on that first or second round pick.
I ain't no GM but IMO this would he the best route to take because there is no way in hell we're going to resign Wheaton and Bryant because Brown is bout to get paid again and I know they're going to resign Bell because if he does get injured they just cut him.
Package one of them and make it happen...what y'all think

I expect them to take BPA no matter what, whether its d-line, olb, or db. Wouldnt mind seeing them move up but no way I wanna see Bryant go

Yeah I'm okay with Wheaton making an exit.. But Bryant has freakish ability and unlimited potential. He's a must keep
