2016-17 was a good season in a lot of aspects. The D got completely turned around, the O :hhh:

Reese worked magic last off-season and he's going to have to duplicate that this off-season if we want to compete for the NFC East. Macadoo should continue to learn and improve. But we all know what this off-season will mostly be about fixing the fukking O-Line. Drafting Eli's eventual replacement should also be a priority if not this year's draft, 2018.

I'm nervous about what might happen with Hankins and JPP. I think because of future contracts we might have another Linval situation and JPP is not taking another hometown discount he wants OV money and who could blame him. I can't see how we resign JPP unless the market shows something different. :mjcry:

Figuring out what we need to with Flowers should be a priority, either get him some tutoring so he don't suck as a left tackle, or move his ass over to the right side.

Can we finally draft a fukking LB? Also address TE.

Another DE, CB wouldn't hurt.

Figure out long term plans for Perkins....cut jennings and cruz

Kiper early mock. I'll be shocked if any top tackles fell to us. Reese definitely isn't changing his stubbornness on LB's, hopefully TE's might be a different story because of Macadoo's offense

23. New York Giants
*Ryan Ramczyk, OT, Wisconsin

Picking another tackle would allow the Giants to move 2015 top-10 pick Ereck Flowers over to the right side -- he struggled in 2016. Ramczyk, who has had an amazing path to the NFL, is a 6-6, 314-pound road grader with all the traits of an NFL starter, but he's not a talent on the level of former Badger Joe Thomas (who is?). New York could also target a pass-rusher or tight end (none are off the board so far).

I guess Perkins can handle chief RB duties :francis:

We haven't had a viable receiving threat at TE in fukking centuries:hhh:

Cruz is washed. Shepard needs to improve his hands. Find a third receiver:ehh:

Defense good:ehh:

I like Perkins but bringing in some competition wouldn't be bad. Cruz probably should've been benched midway through the season. shyt Giants fans saw that Cruz and Jennings were done early

Somehow we've signed FA running backs three years in a row yet have had a bottom-5 RB corps. shyt makes no sense.

May as well send Vereen to the bushes too. Bobby Rainey is essentially the same player at this point.

I think Vereen is still a good and valuable player. The Jennings signing set the RB group back. He got way too much playing time for being a career average backup player.

The offensive line should be the main focus of the offseason, because a good line can make a bad running back look decent and a decent back look great.

Fair enough. I wish they used Vereen/his type of RB skill set more often. Eli's been at his best when he has three viable receivers and a pass-catching back like Ahmad Bradshaw at his disposal. That 3-wide singleback set :whoo:.

We could get away with Will Tye at tight end with that setup.
