he's gonna be in his element in a general election debate, its a far better setting for biden

if he was weak in the dem primary debate, it was because he was in the wrong decade you had 20 candidates trying to out-woke each other about letting people come here illegally to get free healthcare. trump vs biden talking to the whole country is FAR better for his style than trying to appeal to just the dem base

plus its just 1 on 1 vs a man he thinks is a piece of shyt, not 10 people who are his allies at the end of the day

I'm starting to think the debate won't be as bad as I figured. I never thought Biden would get torched or look retarded, but I expected we may get the "slow Joe" we saw in previous debates. But after tonight, and when I look back at that final debate with Bernie...he knows how to bully, which is what you need to do with Trump. That..."this fukking guy..." energy where you laugh off a stupid attack, throw some barbs, and then get back to your message. Similar to how he approached Ryan. Biden is no policy wonk (and neither was Ryan, the media just made him out to be one). Instead of getting deep into details, he basically kept laughing off Ryan's bullshyt and sticking to his message. That's why he will have to do to Trump.

But he'll also have to hit him with some major bars about disappointment and disgust. That's the best way to do it.

It makes perfect sense, because the pro Biden line was always been that he’s the safe and perfect candidate to beat Trump. Response to that the line was that he has dementia, would be destroyed in the campaign and debates, and that the Dems have thrown the election. Now that a victory appears all but certain the former claims have all but disappeared.

I don't think people realize how silly it looks to try and compare and contrast Obama and Biden.

There are going to be similarities and there are going to be outright differences by design and choice. But the time to hold Biden accountable is in January, not in August.
