Most female presidents come up under parliamentary systems where the party recognizes your value. Like Pelosi would have been president a LONG time ago if you had a parliament that would nominate the President/Prime Minister.

Right now the fav is MJ Hegar but I don't expect her to win.

Hegar has been pretty wack as a candidate and I don't expect her to draw the enthusiasm (or the turnout) that Beto did.
Which sucks because if we had someone better, that'd push Texas further towards purple and put extra pressure on the GOP.
