Bernie was alleged by Centrists to have claimed that women wold not win the presidency despite saying on video that he believed they would;

so by their own standard Biden is going to cut the fucc out of social security :hubie:

It was alleged in a private conversation. Don't be silly. Politicians say anything in public and different shyt behind closed doors. All of them. The point of the matter everyone is missing is that NONE of them should be trusted, not even Bernie.

But you all keep trying to convince yourselves he will be different. It will only lead to disillusionment or you will go full acolyte like the MAGA crowd.

Exactly my point. Nina is anything but whitewashed and is his strongest surrogate by far. She's going to play an important role in a Sanders administration anyway and besides Barbara Lee who's not that much younger than Bernie there isn't anybody that has run this year that would be a better pick.

I'm more than open to hearing other possible options, so far I've heard Yang, Klobachar and a bunch of other nonsensical shyt.

Ok. I can't see how Nina Turner gets Bernie that black vote. Help me see. I was never under the impression that she had the name recognition that would attract the black vote. Strong surrogate doesn't always mean national recognition.

Convince me.

There are things that take priority over name recognition. For me and I'm sure other Sanders supporters, continuity is a huge issue given his age. This is not about wrestling political capital from 'establishment' dems for Bernie Sanders to have 4 years in office as a stop-gap, this is about a movement that is coming in his wake so having someone of like mind on deck to take up the mantle is more important than celebrity.

The fact that she is a black woman is a bonus trait that could appeal to some black voters, particularly black women and women in general in the primary given the fact that she would be making history. Same reason why some people are suggesting Stacy Abrams for Biden. Not to mention, floating her name out there publicly, especially given her charisma could give her the spotlight to get that name recognition. How much of the black vote she's able to garner really only matters in the now, once he gets the nomination the black vote is sowed up anyway.

Convince me of a better option. Tulsi, Yang, Warren...I even saw somebody say Cornell West lol, you tell me a better play.

I honestly have none. If I were to give an uninformed hot take, initially a Bernie/Warren ticket for me was unbeatable, but I can't see that happening now. I don't think he would go the Black route though. Probably white Male, Hispanic Male or white/Hispanic female.

I think he would go with someone with name recognition who can win him an important demographic.

Personally, if he gets the Dem nomination, he should be assured of black support. He would just need strong surrogates to keep interest high.

:mjlol:

She says she was a big Hillary supporter and still hates all Sanders supporters

Then she says "I want you to end them! .... and then get them on our side"

Kinda like how Hillary called all those swing voters deplorables and "ended them" and then brought them right back onto her side when... oh right:unimpressed:

This is a voter who wants to "own the libs!", but then thinks they will come over to her side after they have been attacked and ostracized.

If I didn't know better I would think this lady was a plant sent there to bait Warren, and thankfully Warren is smart enough to not take the bait of leftover Hillstan blind fury at Bernie:unimpressed:
you realize theres more of those voters than sanders supporters right?

She annoys so many people and no one ever says it.

This is how I know you're not black.

No one black remotely like Nina Turner. She's such a turn off and she only comforts white liberals who think a black woman who does that performative preaching means she's legit.

She annoys black voters. And she's been doing this for 4 years. Its not working

Uncertain grounds
bruh, its been a year of this shyt.

biden hasn't gone anywhere.

everyone can't believe it but here we are.

I understand your point but hed drop 10-15 pts if he came out right now and at the next debate that hes cutting ss. Majority of his supporters are SS collectors or on the verge of collecting. It would be suicide
