We're finally seeing who are the Bernie Bros on this site.

Most of his supporters have accepted this potential endorsement with caution.

8 months ago Yang got a booth post Rogan and made it clear he wasn't with that alt righters jumping on his campaign. He's still good.

I imagine Bernie could have done similar and lost no support, but that's the difference.
I'm trying to parse what you're saying here. Are you saying that Rogan is alt-right? Based on what?

They sent out tons of Hilary hate before Donnie went at her. He just repeated 90% of what Bernie posters do.

Warren and Bernie fans are doing it this year tho. You’re killing your own political party before the real fight even begins.

Biden fans have stayed on code for the most part. I hate Liz but id never post it publicly.

y’all are becoming absolutely toxic to the party. It’s only hurting us
You're literally doing exactly what you claim to be complaining about. :mjlol:

And the idea that Bernie is somehow responsible for the infighting? :gucci:

I know you're not a fan of Rogan @Mephistopheles stop handwringing

:mjlol:

Should he retweet a David Duke endorsement too? Not even hyperbole
It's not hyperbole to compare Joe Rogan to David Duke? This Joe Rogan?

My receipts are already in on what I feel about Joe Rogan. I don't think he's bright enough to be the gatekeeper he's trying to be and he's horrifically uninformed on most issues that matter to Black people. Too often he fails to call people out who need to be called out.I have no idea why anyone who cares about the Black community would waste any of their life on him.

But y'all destroy the meaning of the phrase "open white nationalist" when you use it on him. If he's a white nationalist he's definitely hiding it. I kept trying to find racist receipts on him when I was shytting on him in the other thread. And the only thing that keeps coming up is that clip....which when you watch the full clip, he immediately segues from a :gucci:-inducing, racist-as-fukk sounding joke to:

1. Black people are really cool to be around and the Black community is a really positive experience
2. When White people appropriate Black culture or try to pretend they're "down" by appropriating black mannerisms it is completely cringe-worthy and offensive to the Black community
3. Black actors and Black roles are completely underrepresented in Hollywood and the Black community has valid complaints with how the media depicts them

For the portion of his audience that is right-wing, the entire speech he makes has got to be one of the most anti-racist speeches they've ever heard any of their heroes spew, and it's obvious as hell that he's speaking what he really believes. The joke was horrific and tells you a lot about how he was raised and the circles he's been in and what his audience looks like. But the actual points he makes were the opposite of White Nationalism and its disingenuous as fukk to equate them.

I have one thing to say on this Rogan endorsement and that’s it.

If y’all are gonna be mega outraged that Sanders is endorsed by someone “who is transphobic” well there is sure a hell of a lot of transphobia on this very site that y’all could be putting in work to clean up and I don’t see much of that at all.

@Cole Cash made a pro-trans thread and the only one who came to back him up was @storyteller

I look forward to seeing our newly pro-trans friends here in this thread spreading that message into TLR, TB, and TC.
I will get a straight answer out of you.

You tell me which Joe Rogan voters we should court first. The ones that think black people are apes? Or the ones that think women are bitter c*nts?

Why are people running with the assumption that Rogan's fans are going to suddenly start supporting Bernie?

As a non Bernie supporter, I’ll play devils advocate. most of em r just looking for some direction and to believe in something.

If trump can convince them to support him, Bernie can as well.

Will this be a continuing effort? Is Rogan going to stop platforming the people who made Trump/the alt-right attractive to them in the first place? Will Rogan start pushing back against all of the misinformation he helps spread?

I'd say we start with the ones that enjoyed this episode.

2.6 million views on Youtube alone, meaning 5+ million views across all his platforms. 63,000+ likes compared to 6,000+ dislikes. Insanely positive comments, probably the most positive I've ever seen on an online interview. Why don't we court those listeners?

Again, I’m not a Bernie supporter but I’ll defend this strategy.

your mindset on the matter is flawed. they became alt-right Bc someone convinced them to be via the mediums they had access to. You can appeal to them and change that mindset as well.

Obama’s campaign invented (internet) social engineering. He is the all time GOAT :salute:on what strategies Bernies trying to copy and trump did copy successfully.

the goal is to get votes, that’s it. If you can convince the ppl u think will help u win, you do it.

them being alt right or ppl from Pluto doesn’t matter, u get them to vote for u. Then get your agendas passed.

I don’t think you realize that Joe Rogan fans appreciate Cornel West and Jordan Peterson. His whole platform is based on that fundamental structure of allowing ppl to present their ideas.

it seems like he’s ready to use it for us this year:sas2:

Use it. We need to appeal to the right and alt right, in order to Finesse those ppl to vote for us.

For that strategy to bear any fruit, you have to constantly feed information counter to what radicalized them in the first place. Is this something Rogan is going to do or will he keep bringing on people like Gavin Mcinnes or other right-wing grifters?

I have no idea. But given his very anti trump rhetoric and his willingness to openly support Bernie. I think he’s going to push democratic rhetoric in a blatant and subconscious manner.

Just an FYI, you can pay for adds now via one sentence to 2-3 minute statements on a podcast, and it’s legal.

:sas2:

they don’t have to say in anyway shape or form it’s an ad. The podcast advertising world is the Wild West right now, anything goes.

You're still avoiding the question, and I will leave this here, because that statement you made could have easily been a part of the answer I was looking for.

My question was

You tell me which Joe Rogan voters we should court first. The ones that think black people are apes? Or the ones that think women are bitter c*nts?

A simple answer would have been fukk no, we dont want to court those racists or misogynists, but Rogan has near 3 million viewers on YouTube alone, most of whom are probably good people, and I am happy for Bernie's message to reach those people and influence them.

That's all I was looking for.

I would hope this would lead to an honest introspection as to why Sanders' supporters choose to avoid issues like racism and misogyny when it comes to Bernie, his ideals, his surrogates and his endorsements, but that may be too much to ask.

I expect I will insead get replies with Bernie's stance on these issues, and how much better his stance is compared to other candidates.

We count the ones that replace the votes we lost from two term Obama voters that flipped to Trump to get him the fukk out of office...he's the worst thing ever right? The DNC really has nothing else to offer besides "Trump is bad, beat him at all costs" right? He's an existential threat right?

If stopping Trump is being compared to stopping an asteroid and one of the biggest talking points by concern trolls asking who's most equipped to unite the country you would think it would be necessary to get as many people as possible working toward the common goal of saving the planet.

And as I said, if Joe Biden can talk about the dangers of the country becoming a racial jungle and brag about working with segregationists to get things done, Bernie Sanders can accept support from Joe Rogan and anybody in his audience that would help us remove Trump from office.

Anybody who would decline support from Joe Rogan or the 'deplorables' that make up some of his crowd are more concerned with political games than they are saving the planet or sparking fundamental change. Any pleas for uniting the country from that crowd is a fukking joke.

Wait, you're pissed off that I didn't directly answer a "when did you stop beating your wife?" question? :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Like I said, you court the listeners who hear things they like when Rogan brings on Cornell West and other liberal guests. Do you see Bernie using racism to court voters? Of course not, I don't think he'd be tempted to do that for a second and even if he was, he'd remember how that backfired for the Clinton campaign in 2008. So why even bring it up?

More of those guests that those unconvertable Joe Rogan listeners keep getting pushed in their faces:
