I will get a straight answer out of you.

You tell me which Joe Rogan voters we should court first. The ones that think black people are apes? Or the ones that think women are bitter c*nts?

I don’t think you “court” any of those voters in so far as you don’t change your message/stance/beliefs/platform to keep them around.

But to go on the offensive against potential voters in the way that Hillary did with her “basket of deplorables” line is equally as unproductive from an electoral strategy perspective.

There were Obama voters who voted for Trump so there is a segment that can be flipped back and if Bernie can do so while still running a trans and Black inclusive message then he should do so.

Secondly, Biden, Warren, and Pete all asked Rogan to be on his show as well and wanted to tap into that audience so this is not a Bernie specific dilemma. All of the top 4 wanted in.

Hell
All this because of a tepid endorsement from a comedian whose main preoccupation is cage fighting, mushrooms and big foot?

Rogan is one of the undercover dudes, he's in MMA which is heavy bro talk but for the most part buddy is right, Sanders shouldn't accept the endorsement from Rogan who has a shaky past and said some messed up stuff about minorities but these politicians don't care anyways.

This can't be life. In the last cycle we were okay with a candidate who regularly sought foreign policy advice from Henry Kissinger and who counted Jeffrey Epstein, Hosni Mubarak, and the Saudi royals among her personal family friends, but an endorsement from Joe Rogan is a bridge too far. :snoop:
Appearances mean more than action to people.

Secondly, Biden, Warren, and Pete all asked Rogan to be on his show as well and wanted to tap into that audience so this is not a Bernie specific dilemma. All of the top 4 wanted in.
This is why the hysteria is misguided and lost. All of those candidates wanted access to his listeners.

I get Rogan is not his cup of tea, but he is making a mountain out of a mole hill. The last few pages is him clutching his pearls :picard: over this “endorsement”.

The Rogan backlash is nothing more than another feeble attempt to “disqualify” Bernie that is going to backfire just like the rest of them.

When you mention Warren and Biden were begging to get on the Rogan podcast its:

I don’t know much about Joe Rogan but he seems associated with angry macho MMA culture, and is perhaps an entry point into alt right/white supremacist thinking for many.

I watched him do a good long interview with this former Baltimore detective who exposed how racist the criminal justice system is from an insider’s firsthand perspective and Rogan was co-signing him the whole time.

I don’t know... maybe he’s one of those people who just kinda agrees with almost whoever is on the show. Most good interviewers do that. Howard Stern is the same. That’s how you keep people talking and keep them coming back.

Getting his endorsement is a major look for Bernie considering the size of his audience. Don’t listen to his show and don’t give a fukk about him though.

Where would you get the impression I’m a fan of Joe Rogan? You’re too old to still be gaslight trolling.

I wrote that I know you're not a fan of Joe Rogan though? Maybe you're gaslighting me lol?

I think Rogan pushes a lot of toxic views onto his viewers that they either already hold or are more than willing to embrace.

Rogan can endorse whoever he wants obviously but I don't think Bernie should've/needed to retweet him like it's some coup.

This is exactly what he does. It can be frustrating when he has someone you don’t agree with and he doesn’t push back. It used to piss me off till I realized that is his interviewing style.

With that said, I think he would even agree that he has a very shallow understanding of politics. He is better when talking MMA and comedy or being a curious pothead when a scientist or expert is on the show.

It’s crazy that people got their panties in a bunch over Joe Rogan’s “endorsement”. :heh:

maybe we should get these ladies their fainting couches.

“I do declare sir, how dare you take the endorsement of that man? Joe Rogan is an uncouth brute.”

Bernie not being a polished, calculating politician cuts both ways. Amplifying rogan is an example of the downside and points to who he has running his campaign. I dont think he needed to RT, rogan isn't David duke who needs to be denounced, just dont touch it. Still riding with bernie but disappointed in his campaign

Some dude was saying "Rogan Voters" :russ:
