The whole "how are you going to pay for......?" is such a disingenuous Republican talking point. Obviously US tax payer dollars are going to pay for this like everything else. The burden on the middle class could obviously be relieved by the upper class and big business paying its fair share in taxes and the government eliminating or cutting certain programs that are just throwing the same tax dollars in the fire.
They actually convinced some people that one of the richest countries can’t afford to take care of their citizens like much smaller countries can, and we have to stay at the will of for profit insurance companies :dwillhuh:

Bernie lowkey grifting revol politics:jbhmm:
Son I've said it before and I'll say it again.

Its hard enough being a prosecutor and running for president as a democrat. republicans love that law and order shyt. Clinton toed that line to get into the White House. Modern democrats ain't built like that post-Ferguson. Even Kamala was at one point the most progressive DA in the country, and that's saying A LOT. Theres no perspective right now.

But even Warren represents 10x more people in her state than Bernie. And she just got reelected.

You can't come from a state with no real diversity of constituents and try to moralize to the rest of us.

Even AOC represents more people than Bernie. Do you realize this?

Thats why attacking Booker on the Pharma importing drugs bill was bullshyt. NJ is home to most of the world's leading Pharma companies and intellectual property. Bernie was just doing some populist bullshyt maneuver.

its the same with people "signing on to medicare for all" ... they weren't doing it because they thought it would, pass. Its a symbolic gesture. Once the details came out people distanced themselves because Bernie was, as usual, playing games.

For fukks sake, the ACA is like 1000 pages. His bill is like... 50 :dead:

I can play the same pessimist game and say the same senate & leader McConnell that doesn’t even fukk with Obamacare won’t let ANY improvements or saving of the bill happen. So I guess it’s fukk her plan too :manny: You’re opinion of which one can pass or not meaningless.
Sanders has no plan to improve the ACA. He wants to leapfrog it.

I'm talking about the raw numbers. For someone promising a revolution, his turnout numbers weren't that impressive. Especially considering he's been running for 5 years, and he had an absurd burn rate in Iowa.
I think what we're seeing is that, with Bernie at the top, people just won't turn out.

And no one wants to engage this possibility.

He has a very low ceiling compared to his peers.

Most of Europe doesn't spend money on defense because the USA does that.

Y'all really don't know world history like you think you do...

under 30 turnout was higher than 2008.

biden didn't bring his people out and rural Iowa voters are back with the GOP which is why turnout stagnated. let's wait until super tuesday before we make any turnout judgements. that obama/clinton recession primary is never happening again.
