mike for black america sounds worse than pete's attempt at black folk with his douglas plan
shyt is genuinely irking me. This dude legalized racial profiling for a decade and somehow went from being worth like 10 billion to 60 billion by the time he was done being mayor.

Stop and Frisk was terrible

But Bloomberg and the ppl who support him disgust me

I kind of want them to feel the consequences if they nominate him

Most that generation of black people never fought for anything. They were adolescents when the civil rights movement happened and were working adults when the anti-apartheid movement went strong. We have to start thinking about this clearer.

the only difference black folks supporting bloomberg getting money up front (I hope)

instead of only getting some money that has to go through a funnel in the unlikely case pete wins

:manny: at this point for all candidates who cant garner black votes organically, it's not the worst idea to throw dollars and hope they get some.
is it disgusting, yeah. but money talks in lots of cases.

Sanders doesn't think Bloomberg should be in next debates: "I guess if you're worth $60 billion, you can change the rules"
BY NICOLE BROWN

FEBRUARY 14, 2020 / 12:46 PM / CBS NEWS

Sanders doesn't think Bloomberg should be in next debates: "I guess if you're worth $60 billion, you can change the rules"
Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said it's "very unfortunate" a rule change could allow his fellow presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg into the next Democratic debates. The qualifications no longer include a unique-donor threshold.

"That is what being a multi-billionaire is about. Some very good friends of mine who were competing in the Democratic nomination — people like Cory Booker of New Jersey, Julián Castro — work really, really hard. Nobody changed the rules to get them in the debate," he said on "CBS This Morning" Friday

But I guess if you're worth $60 billion, you can change the rules. I think that is very, very unfortunate," he added

Sanders has been critical of Bloomberg using his wealth to run for president since he entered the race.

When asked to respond to a recent Quinnipiac University poll with black voters that put Bloomberg and former Vice President Joe Biden ahead of him, Sanders expressed confidence in his support from minority communities.

"I don't know what the most recent poll has, but we are doing very, very well with minority communities, both African-American and Latino," he said.

"A lot of politicians go from the top on down. That's what Bloomberg is about. He's spending hundreds of millions of dollars. That's fine, we don't have hundreds of millions of dollars. Our movement is made up of working people, of young people, and we're going to put that coalition together, we are going to take on the establishment and I believe we're going to win."

Sanders also addressed the criticism from a Democratic congressman in South Carolina who recently said, "South Carolinians don't want socialism" in explaining why he doesn't support Sanders.

"In my view, to a significant degree, we are living, right now under Donald Trump, in a socialist society. The only difference is does the government work for working people or does it work for billionaires?" he said, explaining that he views tax breaks and subsidies for corporations and billionaires as "socialism for the rich."

Sanders, an Independent senator from Vermont, has long identified as a Democratic socialist. Pressed if that label is confusing voters and allowing his critics to hurt him politically, he said, "I'm not worried about labels. We will define ourselves, not let other people define us."

The next Democratic debate is Wednesday, February 19 in Los Vegas, ahead of the Nevada caucuses on February 22

dont you think a bloomberg presidency will be better than a trump presidency? he's just gonna be signing the bills that the democrats pass, and rejecting (most :skip:) of the ones that the republicans push. i mean just off the fact that we don't have to see this orange fakkit's face all over the news on a daily basis is enough for me

obviously i dont give a fukk if you vote for him :hubie: but as someone who didnt vote in 2016, there's no way im doing it again

and i still think bloomberg has zero shot of taking this nomination. im just not seeing the path where he wins, and i dont think the DNC has the balls to proclaim him the victor if he doesnt outright win. as hungry as they are for his money :dead:

So they think they finally found a war they can pin onto him.

This vote was a partizan power play around one month after the bombing began with no consequences on the ground. Clinton lost a tight vote and it changed nothing, since the action went through NATO and had nothing to do with single countries.

As far as the establishment goes, Clinton was literally the one who bombed Serbia, so the democratic establishment better shut up and leave Serbia out of their propaganda games.

There was a lot of war propaganda at the time and this was a tight vote so a lot of people held democratic rank. So much for "he's not a Democrat" narrative.
Bernie voted just like Barbara Lee and this is coming from a person that was bombed in 1999.
