Look, if you think regular 9-5ers who make 100k aren’t average people, be my guest. No one said their income was the average, but they are average day in day out folks in the grind like everyone else is. They’re not old money billionaires or new rich kids, they’re not celebrities and athletes, they’re not c suite executives flush with million dollar salaries and multi million dollar stock plans. So again, please paint feel free to view them however you want, as part of that income bracket who had to do it on loans and starting behind the mark like many other black people, I know I may make above average but I’m just as limited in power and flexibility as someone making half of what I make, if the job goes so does the lifestyle

Even if these people were average, they would be at the extreme end of the range and not really representative of the people in the middle.

200k isn't average and "average people" aren't making 200k. I think you must realize this, which is why you are now saying 100k even though I never mentioned anything about that income range. Even if these people were average, they would be at the extreme end of the range and not really representative of the people in the middle.

and the zip code I posted from is diverse in the areas it covers...further north, it’s a mix of decent to transitioning, but absolutely nothing to write home about, still plenty of personal and property crime, further south, especially below 40th, it’s very hit or miss to straight hood

can y’all not read average people vs average income? There are a lot of everyday people making six figures, they are average everyday people as their income comes from wages. They lose their job they struggle like anyone else, they’re not sitting on fortunes. They’re working hard to have attained that life and yes, 20k extra going missing will not be a drop in the bucket

In their minds, at worst, you make 180k therefore you take home 180k/12.

Somewhere in the middle people realize you're taxed more and don't take that much home.

Then further in the rational spectrum they recognize you might have student loans, an absurdly high mortgage based on where you live to earn this salary.

But ultimately, the tipping points seems to be some sort of jealousy, or wo se the idea that because you make more money, especially as a black parent, you shouldn't use your resources to elevate your own family.

Either way, somehow I'm the enemy making 6 figures, while orsusing a man with three homes to lead them to the promised land.

I say this to you as someone that can be swayed, but why would I vote against someone that wants to work in my interest on that basis that they might not be able to get everything done that they'd like to? It's not my job to be a politician and do their jobs for them. I don't care about what bill can get how many votes in 2021, or 2022, etc. I should be able to vote for who I think will work hardest to implement policies that will help me, and that's it.

And BTW I don't feel like he's promising the moon. He's said that wants to be careful not to over-promise and under-deliver, but that he's going to fight his hardest. I respect that.

FWIW I respect Warren too. She's the only other person I'd be open to voting for as of now.
