i dont blame her :yeshrug: id be doing the same shyt

look, if liz or bernie forgive everyone's debt then i'll roll my eyes and go on with my life. it's still a bullshyt ass idea :dead:

Im for forgiving debt as it would be good for the economy. There should just be some consideration for those who paid off loans or didnt take out loans (without coming from extreme wealth)

And taxpayers relieved of their student loans debt will also put money back into the system with more disposable income like being able to buy a home.
then push for UBI :yeshrug:it's a fairer and more effective way of addressing this problem

let me just get this straight: some motherfukker who finishes grad school JUST the month before bernie forgives this debt, ran up undergrad/grad school worth of debt because it's an investment that gets them a 100k job right out the gate, and has made one student loan payment so far:

we should just forgive their debt? :laff:

McGovern comparisons are dumb, but it's fair to argue Sanders is could be a disaster. The nation is too partisan for us to ever see something like 1972 again. The benchmark for a modern electoral college blowout is 2008.

Sanders is on tape praising Castro and various other dictators....so take Florida off the map. He's advocating raising taxes on the middle class. He has a limited understanding of basic policy, and listening to him for 5 minutes will make that clear (which is why he repeats himself and yells). He's not a good debater (not that I think debates matter much). His surrogates are stupid and chaotic, and the power struggles during a campaign will be ugly. Why should I believe he can win?

Why should I believe he can go into the midwest and tell union workers that their insurance is going to be shyt canned and replaced by a giant government run program? Why should I believe he can even compete in Florida? You might argue no democrat is going to win Florida and sure maybe you're right...but you want to compete there, and force Trump to waste money. Sanders isn't gonna do that. Why should I believe he's going to generate the type of black turnout needed? Why should I believe his team can put together a decent national convention?

I'm not making this argument and then hitting you with "meanwhile I think x candidate can do all those things," because that candidate doesn't exist (unless Obama gets to run for a third term). These candidates are bad, folks. And they've spent half a year slaughtering each other while having little to say about Trump. I don't like what I'm seeing. Barring an economic downturn, it's hard for me to see Trump losing. I thought Biden would crush Trump, if he could get the nom. I knew he was a bad campaigner but figured as long as he can get into the general, he'll be fine. But after 6 months of watching this dude, he is NOT there mentally. Yea you can say it's the stutter, not mental...but dude just sounds off to me. That was the best shot to me. Maybe Warren if she didn't go full retard with this far left shyt.

One more thing to add to this student loan forgiveness debate. It is common for people to have well over 6 figures in student loan debt. Especially if they lived in the dorms, or if they took out loans to live. I know people that had to take out extra loans including private student loans, because they had to do rotations or internships. They weren’t able to keep there jobs, or had to take a leave of absence because the internships/rotations conflicted with their work schedules.

Also this is not just about individuals getting
their debt forgiven. This will help the economy in general. Student debt is upcoming economic crisis.

This article is not about loan forgiveness but it is a good read about the overall crisis
What Will It Take to Solve the Student Loan Crisis?

Valid point

Reality is that any plan this ambitious is going to have caveats
