I actually don’t, again, I’m in a bracket that gets hit hardest by taxes (Republicans skip taxing the wealthy and pass their burden down to us, while democrats label us “well off” and put it on us to support the bottom) yet has the fewest credits or deductions available, I pay for a ton of shyt I’ll never use, qualify for or benefit from, so I’m absolutely here for one fukking government safety net that actually works for me :manny:

and it’s funny some of the m4a supporters also feel like y’all who are against this. want me to pay $6k more a year to give insurance to someone I don’t know then feel some type of way about debt forgiveness to someone they don’t know. If I should’ve chosen not to go to school that person should’ve chosen a skill set that got them a job with insurance :sas1:
I’m for M4A but I feel you. I’m also in that “get fukked tax bracket”. I thought about putting hands on the accountant that did my taxes after he told me how much I owe the government. With that said I can’t wait to be taxed even more once Bernie or Liz become president :blessed:
At least my taxes will go to something I agree with.

You guys watching the town halls? Bloomberg seemed more comfortable. He did ok. Nothing special or noticeable. Biden did well. He always does well in these town halls. Amy is on now. She doesn't have any spark or charisma when she talks. At least Bloomberg got that rich white man presence. She has zero presence.

I say settle because that's politics.. that's expected. Anyone fearful of Bernie or Liz is complete fearmongering or a moron.

The u.s. isn't all of a sudden far left just because they'd be elected. They would have to settle but things would get done.

I don't think people are afraid of Bernie or Liz's agenda.

The fear is that they would be more likely than a moderate to lose to Trump. Whether that's true or not is a different story :yeshrug: but it's the perception for some.

Agree on all counts

Biden was actually really good. Answering the reverends question and the cancer question legit won over one voter who was initially going to vote for pete

again, for the record. i actually agree with you :dead:

its just too bad we cant get behind a viable moderate :yeshrug:
None of the candidates are as charismatic or unifying as Obama.

I can only imagine the type of voter apathy that comes at midterms of none of the big ticket proposals pass.

Every president loses at midterms. That wouldn't differentiate any of these candidates from Obama.

Like I said, I know why y’all want it to happen. I would want my loans forgiven too. I don’t know your situation, so it could be a safety net for you.

However, if the government cancels all student debt, a lot of money will be spent on people who don’t need it. I support student loan cancellation, but I think the policy should include means testing.
