Her plan also does a good job of being grounded in the reality of how corporations actually operate than the other M4A plans like Bernie's plan which revolves around complete naivety about corp greed. Bernie's plan shifts trillions of healthcare burden from corporations to taxpayers, then expects the corporations to pay people more instead of profit-take lol. In Warren's plan, there's mostly no shifting of burden away from corporations, which gives them no opportunity to use the transition as a way to reduce expenses.

It's still not going to pass because "how are you going to pay for it?" was a red herring. It's good that she found a funding mechanism, that was her weakest spot in the debates; however, Buttitrash et al. will just move on to the next disingenuous argument and keep talking about these nonsensical ideas of "choice" and "trusting the American people."

Being hyper-competent and finding a funding mechanism isn't going to get c00ns, Manchin, Brown, et al. to support the legislation. So until she has a plan for that it's DOA.

Edit: Oh and if you live in a red southern state you're fukked on so many different levels that whining about "gubmint healthcare" misses the plot. The idea that the rest of the country should fukk itself over because your ass-backward state elects incompetent Republicans is ridiculous. @dtownreppin214 you have to actually read beyond headlines. Warren’s policy doesn’t actually work because employers will simply just hire a bunch of independent contractors and dodge the tax.

Labor laws can generally be enforced by both govt. agencies as well as private attorneys. If whole industries are making wholesale decisions to avoid taxation or the proper paying of wages and benefits, someone will bring suit, especially if there is union pressure and movement by state regulators to stop large scale fraud. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she'll address this further as she releases more details of her plan.
