That Arizona poll got you big mad.

If you took the time to process what you read you would realize the number you're citing refers to non-democrat voting and non-democrat leaning independents.

In other words, are you seriously asking me why conservatives don't like a progressive?

Quinnipiac was kind enough to provide me with a crosstab of how non-potential Democratic voters (i.e. those who are not Democrats or Democratic-leaning independents) feel about Warren.

This month, she comes in with an 11% favorable rating and a 70% unfavorable rating among this group. That shouldn't be too surprising, given that, while some of this group are independents who don't lean toward either party, much of it is made up of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. We simply should expect Warren (or any Democrat) to struggle with this group.

What's interesting is the trendline. Back in Quinnipiac's May poll, Warren's favorable rating with non-potential Democratic primary voters was 8%, compared to an unfavorable rating of 66%. A CNN poll a month later put Warren with an 11% favorable and 66% unfavorable rating with this group.

Put another way, Warren has not really seen any improvement with non-potential Democratic primary voters over the summer, even as she has dramatically improved with Democrats.

Interestingly enough..i was talking politics with a client of mine last night and i brought up how i think warren will win the primary and he said he would "never vote for that phony". Hes a lifelong democrat that voted hillary

Independents are republicans without a backbone to their bigotry. How many of them are there?

Yeah I know anyone who isn't a Democrat is a conservative or a closet Trump voter. Regardless, why does she poll so poorly among independents? You think that's the only poll that indicates that?

Underwater against Trump in Iowa, Ohio, Nevada and New Hampshire.

Even in North Carolina and Florida.

And that's without any real scandal. This is with whom you all place your faith?

Doesn't surprise me. That's indicative of how most people look at politics. Wonky people act like every voter pays attention to the minutia of peoples' policy positions and voting records as opposed to personall

That's why I think the Native American thing is a vulnerability. It's not about affirmative action or any of that. It's about people turning on the TV and saying "She said she's Indian and she's not? She’s fake. ”
