Optics are a thing, unfortunately. Warren looks weak. Dumbass voters will factor that in. Trump would beat Warren and pretty easily.

Cornyn's approval ratings are in the 30's in Texas, Trump's is only 47%. The issue is Beto's mandatory buyback stance is a no-go in Texas. Even Dems in this state love their guns.

Beto has shown a lot of moral clarity on the gun issue and on racism in this country. I really don't know why he catches so much flack on here.

Beto was good on racial issues. My problem with Beto is not being realistic about his chances. It been obvious for months that he wasn’t going to win. I’m super focused on the senate, probably much more than most people. Imo winning the senate is just as important as winning the presidency because of judicial approval. I don’t hate Beto, but it frustrating to see him turn his back on a very winnable seat. I’m also frustrated with Stacey Abrams for the same reason.

Edit: Also I felt like Beto was never fully prepared for debates. This has Been a problem since his debates with Cruz.

I read an article awhile back about the Senate positions not being as attractive as they used to be b/c of all the gridlock. Basically, they're not really doing anything of significance anymore. On top of that, Abrams/Beto would be on the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to seniority, that means no committees, no leadership positions.

Right after his minor heart attack that he didn't even realize was a heart attack, he brought 25,000 people out to the biggest rally any candidate has had so far. And he has more donors than any other candidate, including Trump. So get with the program. Get down or lay down. Bernie will be the nominee. You're going to vote for him. Accept this reality.
