According to her it is corruption. What I think she can get done is Wall Street Regulation. Trump has destroyed Dodd-Frank.The cfp is great.
The one question I can never get any warren fans to answer.
If elected. What do you believe her two top priorities are that she will get done? Just name two.
According to her it is corruption. What I think she can get done is Wall Street Regulation. Trump has destroyed Dodd-Frank.
I think it is possible to get student loan forgiveness through, and some type of free tuition. Even President Obama was pushing for free Community College in his second term.
I think she get get through some type of healthcare bill. I doubt she will be able to get through M4A, but I think she can get through a strong public option. Basically something like what Biden and Pete are is proposing. Like I was saying before, I think all of these healthcare bills will get water down, that is way I believe it is important to start at a strong negotiation point.
Warren says so much I have no idea WTF she even wants to get done.
So what's the issue?
- Universal pre-K
- Universal daycare
- Student debt cancellation
- 2% wealth tax (over $50M)
- Corporations pay royalties for gov't created products
- Stronger unions
- Worker representation on company boards.
This is not an inevitability. We're talking about a radical reformation of the entire employee-employer healthcare paradigm. There will be savings for these businesses, and Liz has added incentives to push those savings to the employees instead of the coffers of businesses. Bernie has faced this argument a lot and responded well too.
As I mentioned in my previous posts, there are pros and cons to progressive vs flat employer taxes in this case. And the whole point of this for Warren wasn't to avoid raising taxes, it was to avoid raising taxes on the middle/working class. One of her key signatures is a tax hike on the wealthy. This M4A funding plan is definitely a tax, it's just one on directly on businesses as opposed to directly on working people.
Breh,I still dont get the if you want a strong negotiation point why not go with Bernie. If that's what you truly believe in then go with that. You conceptualize why I dont like Liz. If the goal is to get to the Public option, just say it. Obama said it about the aca and got it done its simple.
Trump hasnt gotten the wall. But he told his followers the following: no iran deal, Muslim ban, force people in nato to pay more and some others. Beside Nato all those are just shyt. But he delivered.
Warren says so much I have no idea WTF she even wants to get done. You yourself admit she's disgenuine in her M4L plan.
a public option is insanely progressive and attainable. Why not jus believe the person who says this is what I want done and I'll get it done. Why believe someone else who doesnt say they want that at all and you somehow think she'll get that delivered?
Idk what her goal is day 1. Which one of those issues u just posted. Do YOU think she’ll get done?
Breh,
I just explained to you the main reason why I am supporting Liz. It is because of financial policies.
I never said she was disingenuous about M4A. I want M4A. I just don’t think it will be passed in the next few years. Even if Bernie is president I don’t think M4A is passing in the next few years. If you start at Biden’s or Pete’s negotiation point you more than likely won’t even end up with a public option. The insurance lobbyists are going fight against a public option just as hard as they will fight against M4A. When that happens politicians will look for a compromise. The compromise for M4A is a public option. I compromise for a public option is lower the Medicare age to 55. It’s a big difference.
