Notice that nobody has accused Bernie of being an elitist when those are all his ideas. :sas1:

Because nobody would believe that charge. :sas2:

But to some extent, it's gonna work on Harvard Warren. :sas1:

Yet another reason she's the weaker candidate, should drop out, and her supporters should switch to Brother Bernard. :sas2:
No,
They just called Bernie a hypocrite because he is a millionaire from selling his book. I defended Bernie against this attack because it was disingenuous. The elitist attack against Warren is also disingenuous.

Is Bernie leading this party to the slaughterhouse? :francis:

Did Warren pour jelly on herself backing a plan that has 0% chance of becoming law? :francis:

Every Republican ad I've seen has the word socialist in it...even the ones attacking a down the middle moderate like Beshear were all themed around SOCIALISM, SOCIALISM, SOCIALISM . :francis:

I think he's fronting on the Wealth Tax. I'd have to go digging again, but I remember looking at how Warren added in controls to her Wealth Tax plan to address the economic flight fears that people point to in a couple of anecdotal examples. Basically, you disincentivize capital flight and a wealth tax should be more effective. I do think he's right about what caused Warren to bust out the head tax thing though (worrying about a bottom line tabulation that American people won't care so much about as long as they end up with more money in their pockets). So in typical Yang fashion, he's partway there but also gives us a bit of BS to attack a part of legislation no one from the left is concerned about but that serves his own self-interest and could help poison the well.

I think the fact that they couldn't even hold Kentucky with that theme is pretty telling tbh.

I think it was telling that it was even that close. Bevin isn't even from Kentucky, he's a yankee. Beshear is a multi-generational Kentuckian whose father was governor and he had many unions on his side. Yet, he had to scratch and claw to win.

I told Bernie supporters in here months ago my main concern about his electability is that socialism label. Now the entire party is being labeled with it.
