Young Bern gonna win Iowa. :wow:

Bernie bros are loyal. That whole 17 or whatever % that say they’re voting for him are gonna show up for sure.

Biden tanking.

Booty judge vulturing the Hamilton vote from Warren.
The most illuminating things from the new polling is Booty taking from both Warren and Biden and Bernie recovering the under 50 vote he had been losing to Warren. In the Monmouth poll he has nearly double her support among the under 50 crowd. It appears that the 2016 Bernie coalition is coming back home. He might be stronger than I thought. I bet those squad endorsements did it. That’s also why Warren got Ayana now. It’s to stop that bleeding.

Pete will suffer no damage from pissing off black people because we already hate him. I’m trying to figure out how this nikka expects to get through the south with this bullshyt though. nikka is literally running a white only centrist strategy. shyt has to be stopped.

She's a woman. She's Black. She's actually qualified to be President. She's very effective at attacking the opposition.
@dora_da_destroyer virtually covered everything.

Biden outpolls her with black and female voters. Her resume isn't special so it won't set her apart from other potential VP picks. Her ability to "effectively question the opposition" has only been demonstrated in controlled environments like courtrooms or Senate hearings. She isn't very impressive when thinking on her feet, which has been on display in debates and town halls. She's shown questionable political judgment (staffing, inability to address her record, needless flip-flopping within 24hrs, choosing the wrong lane, weird rehearsed attacks).

Most importantly, she doesn't really have any appeal in battleground states.

I personally don't think anyone running for the nomination would make a good VP. I'm not just talking about for Biden either.

Abrams disputed rumors around her lunch with former Vice President Joe Biden during the last question of the night at the University of Iowa event, including theories that he made her an “offer she couldn’t refuse” relating to the vice presidency.

“But when I got the question [from reporters] I was, myself, contemplating my next steps,” she said. “And what I said was, you do not run in a primary for second place, so no, for whatever rumors are out there. However, I’m not in the primary, but you can run as second in the general election, and I am happy to do so with the nominee. That is my answer.”

1.Stacy already has most of the black members of the dnc backing her.

2. they got the debate moved to Atlanta just for her.

3. she’s an actual progressive unlike warren, who moves wherever the wind blows her :mjlol:

4. Biden is the only nominee that can add her as his running mate.

5. The dnc knows the only way they can assure victory is a large black turnout. She’s black and a woman.

6. Black women. The most consistent DNC voters will come out in droves for her. She may be able to surpass the black turnout Obama had

7. She may be able to flip GA

8. She can pull in tons if black celebrities, philanthropists, etc. in order to replicate the “get out and vote” initiative of 2008

9. The black part of the DNC is back ready to push a candidate. They took four years off bc we got Obama in before Hilary. That wait time is over. Time to put one of our own back in. :jawalrus:

:patrice:I don’t know breh. I don’t feel good about a woman running mate for Biden. He needs a Pete Buttigeg type(who isn’t gay) to be his running mate.

I could see Booker as VP for one of the women. I think it depends on who wins though.

Warren should get someone like Gillium.
Sanders should get that woman senator from Wisconsin who supported his Medicare for all bill.
Biden should get Abrams.

Doesn't look like booty gang has thought that far ahead, they are just dumping money into Iowa to try and remain relevant through their caucus and it appears to be working.

my biggest beef is with where Pete is polling here...fukk a biden sanders warren war...
I don’t like this at all. He can legit when Iowa. I don’t think he will be strong enough to win NH even with a Iowa victory, but it is not impossible. He must be stopped. The media loves him so they will give him a ton of free press. The other candidates have been way too nice to him. Someone need to bring up his record as South Ben Mayor.

AZ, MI, NC, PA, WI are the only states that matter. If you manage to win FL, OH, IA, somehow flip GA, and Texas great... but they aren't priorities. This isn't new information.

Gillum is a terrible choice and I wish people would stop trying to make him a thing.

Baldwin would be a good pick for Sanders, especially since Evers would appoint her replacement.

Abrams would be an okay pick for Biden, mostly for her campaigning chops.

For Warren? Gillum is a pretty good choice. They align pretty well. If DeSantos didn't cheat his way to the governorship, Gillum would be Governor right now.

So explain why, he's not a good choice for Warren or even Biden (hell even Harris)?

No, you explain how a guy who underperformed a shut-in (Bill Nelson) and had to settle an ethics investigation is a good choice.

Warren is a 70 year old white woman who isn’t particularly charismatic. There really isn’t a high-profile younger progressive dude she can add. And after Tim Kaine, I doubt she goes the centrist route. I’m not seeing the deep bench for progressive men to go with her message. Funny thing is, if he didn’t run for president, she could have passed Beto in there before people knew any of his stances.

Biden needs someone young in the worst way. Abrams is the first thought that came to mind but he could also take the governor of Michigan, and that’s probably safer.

It is what it is, she is what she is.
