Anybody who thinks what Gillum did in FL wasn’t close to miraculous even in (alleged) defeat knows nothing at all about FL politics and the putrid hordes of MAGA hellbeasts that inhabit the state.

Lol@underperforming Bill Nelson being a knock. Bill Nelson is the only type of Democrat that ever wins statewide races in FL. And the sitting Governor Rick Scott was Trump Jr. A Democrat hasn’t won a gubernatorial election in FL since 1991, but a fiery young black FAMU grad running as a progressive isn’t a thing cause he got cheated and barely lost and he was investigated by the FBI as mayor of a redneck college town and all they got on him was he took a ticket to Hamilton from an undercover agent posing as a lobbyist.
Co-sign . We got most of the population centers that always vote Democrat but then we always end up with republicans as either the senator or governor.the elections always are close but theirs always ballot fukkery. The shyt never changes down here. The cacs down here are racist as hell and we even got racist ass Hispanics so with that campaign desantis ran they was hyped for it.

plus that investigation into gillum was bullshyt. Nothing came out of it and now desantis ended up being the one accepting money from foreign individuals and nobody talks about that. @Stepintoaworld @Smoking With Cigarettes

Leftists always lose with these arguments by attempting to remove the cultural and social pieces of our identity.

Workers are not merely cogs to be used in class warfare. They are also people.
you're completely ignoring the point the guy made about how huge corporations figured out how to say "YOU CAN'T CRITICIZE CAPITALISM, WE HAVE SOME GAYS AND A MEXICAN LADY" but that's cool, do you :unimpressed:

But that's not really what's happening. Companies large and small build a form a kindred or loyalty with their employees and customers by making those gestures.

In turn they escape a lot of criticism because those actions humanize the corporation.

Just look at all the people who defended their company when they received those small one time bonuses after the tax cuts.

Again, I didn't miss his point, my point is this critique often fails to resonate because it doesn't take into account the importance of these humanizing actions even if we all know they are done for other reasons.

Bill Gates Goes After Warren on Wealth Tax, Won’t Commit to Backing Her Over Trump: Voting for Whoever’s ‘More Professional’

:wtb:

fukk this rich a$$hole. "I might vote for Trump". And these are the motherfukkers "centrists" and moderates want us to play nice with. No pay your share of taxes you wealth hoarding fukks!!

https://www.mediaite.com/election-2020/bill-gates-goes-after-warren-on-wealth-tax-wont-commit-to-backing-her-over-trump-voting-for-whoevers-more-professional/

Wall Street has not been shy in expressing reservations over Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) presidential candidacy — given her desire to install a wealth tax. Now, you can add one of the world’s richest people to the list of those who are less than thrilled by the prospect of a Warren presidency.

Speaking at a forum in New York with New York Times writer Andrew Ross Sorkin, Microsoft founder Bill Gates came off as far from enthusiastic about Warren 2020. Speaking about the wealth tax, Gates said there’s a limit to what he would be willing to pay.

“If I had to pay $20 billion, it’s fine,” Gates said. “But when you say I should pay $100 billion, then I’m starting to do a little math about what I have left over.”

Sorkin asked Gates if he’d consider sitting down with the Massachusetts senator.

“I’m not sure how open minded she is — or that she’d even be willing to sit down with somebody who has large amounts of money,” Gates said.

Then, Sorkin posed a scenario which, for the moment, is a hypothetical — albeit one which appears to have more of a chance of happening by the day. The Times writer asked Gates who he would back in a general election: Warren or President Donald Trump.

And despite being a vocal Trump critic in the past, Gates would not commit to supporting Warren to defeat the president.

“I’m not going to make political declarations,” Gates said. “But I do think no matter what policy somebody has in mind … whoever I decide will have the more professional approach in the current situation, probably is the thing I will weigh the most. And I hope that the more professional candidate is an electable candidate.”

There not removing identity, they're just bringing up the fact that that its easier for upper class liberals to signal how woke they are when it comes to granting access and rights to certain groups of people because its not economically costly for them. Essentially, relying strictly on identity presents low hanging fruit for upper class people who want to avoid putting in a little of sacrifice for the many. The Bill Gates comments about who he'd prefer between between Trump or Warren is proof of that.

I was rocking with Bernie in 2016 and thru 2018 but his goddamn stans need to grow up. Warren is from Pressley's state, it makes sense she would endorse Warren.

I know they still haven't forgiven Warren for endorsing HRC over Bernie in 2016 but get fukking real, in 2016 no established Dem was going against HRC.

People don't care about class as much as leftists want us to believe. Well, at least in the way they want us to believe it.

Just look at a Trump rally.
