McKinsey didn't hand ICE manuals on how to torture folks, just manuals on how to maximize efficiency by reducing the food and medical supplies to the people in these camps. Ghoulish stuff. The whole "just here to solve problems" is some Eichmann defense shyt. You cannot separate out the moral impact of your actions by saying "I'm just solving problems".

And just so we're on the same page, your argument is that disclosing prior clients and work should no longer be a standard when running for President. Should tax returns be off-limits now too then? It's anti-democratic because it's denying the public a chance to scrutinize your prior actions. This is literally Liz's whole point about how the rot of corruption sets into government. If you have nothing to hide, then just disclose your prior work.
Breh, they are a corporation built on making profits. How you want to view them taking on controversial work is up to you. I’m not getting into that debate.

And it’s not denying anything, he worked for McKinsey - that was his employer. I’d maybe have a different stance if it was his own personal firm or he was an independent contractor, situations where he would be in control of who clients are, but at his level in McKinsey he wasn’t. Like if he worked for coca cola that would be enough info for voters, no one would ask where he spent his budget at coke or about all the projects he completed...not sure why who the clients he worked on at McKinsey matters. Especially as an associate, you get assigned where you you assigned. And lastly, I never saw the point in releasing tax returns either, but I at least see the connection in wanting to see that a potential government employee pays taxes. Nothing about democracy is threatened by not listing the clients he was assigned to as an employee of McKinsey.

I think the point is that McKinsey is a categorically different type of firm than Coca Cola. Coca Cola sells beverages. McKinsey helps governments and multinational corporations maximize the efficiency of their "operations". There is much higher exposure to sensitive information and access at McKinsey than just about any other company in the world. They're knee-deep in a lot of fukkery. They're in the business of highly-sensitive political and corporate work. Like, you don't think it's relevant to know if Pete's previous work had him doing business with high-level international political or corporate interests? That...seems...very relevant to me and non-transparency around these issues is exactly how corruption seeps into government.

If u think for one second that older black women wouldn’t vote for Biden over trump bc biden had a son on an Ukraine board or if he goes after trump on some toxic masculinity bullshyt....I need to introduce u to some older black women :mjlol:

Ur way off buddy
Is that what I fukkn said or do you have the reading comprehension of a 3rd grader.

Any voter that's pro-Biden because he makes whites comfortable will drop Biden the moment it's shown REPEATEDLY that white people don't fukk with him.

Biden's electability gambit is based off perception. The moment it's PERCEIVED that fat and lazy old white people don't like Biden, all his voter are going to Warren, Pete, and Sanders.

That's why he cut the number of public appearances he was doing. That's why he's not on tv often even though he's the frontrunner. That's why his staff is hiding him until debates.

And I'm going to say this AGAIN, because it's also a very important point. The reason that dude felt comfortable pressing Biden, and the reason that it was caught on video, is because Biden telling that hispanic dude to vote for Trump was a media spectacle. It literally opened up the floodgates.

The reason that a bunch of women felt comfortable speaking out about Biden being a fukkn creep is because it was caught on video and it was a media spectacle.

What I'm saying is that every interaction now is one misstep from being front and center. THAT WHITE DUDE HAD MULTIPLE MICS IN HIS FACE ASKING FOR HIS OPINION ON THE RACE. How many of these fukk ups with white voters do you think a Biden campaign can take?

The funny shyt is you knew I said that shyt and you really tried to switch the point like I give a fukk about Ukraine or anyone related to Biden.

This is where I say y’all are going tin foil. I quite literally have 100’s of classmates who have Worked for these firms and I’ve interviewed with them and rank and file employees ain’t doing shyt but building models and making decks...

And how does his 3 year stint at McKinsey - which ended 10 years ago breed corruption?

I’m done, goodnight, y’all have fun worrying yourselves about the clients he was assigned to and all the spooky nefarious dealings he must have been masterminding

...yeah, and part of the process for determining the trustworthiness of a candidate is having access to their past behaviors, actions, and works. It's a pretty bizarre stand to take that candidates for the highest office in the land should be able to have massive redacted gaps in their resume.
Absolutely not. It's a goose chase for problems you want to be outraged over.

There isn't some claim out there that needs to be verified.
