McKinsey didn't hand ICE manuals on how to torture folks, just manuals on how to maximize efficiency by reducing the food and medical supplies to the people in these camps. Ghoulish stuff. The whole "just here to solve problems" is some Eichmann defense shyt. You cannot separate out the moral impact of your actions by saying "I'm just solving problems".

And just so we're on the same page, your argument is that disclosing prior clients and work should no longer be a standard when running for President. Should tax returns be off-limits now too then? It's anti-democratic because it's denying the public a chance to scrutinize your prior actions. This is literally Liz's whole point about how the rot of corruption sets into government. If you have nothing to hide, then just disclose your prior work.

McKinsey helps governments and multinational corporations maximize the efficiency of their "operations". There is much higher exposure to sensitive information and access at McKinsey than just about any other company in the world. They're knee-deep in a lot of fukkery. They're in the business of highly-sensitive political and corporate work. Like, you don't think it's relevant to know if Pete's previous work had him doing business with high-level international political or corporate interests? That...seems...very relevant to me and non-transparency around these issues is exactly how corruption seeps into government.

Biden's electability gambit is based off perception. The moment it's PERCEIVED that fat and lazy old white people don't like Biden, all his voter are going to Warren, Pete, and Sanders.

That's why he cut the number of public appearances he was doing. That's why he's not on tv often even though he's the frontrunner. That's why his staff is hiding him until debates.

And I'm going to say this AGAIN, because it's also a very important point. The reason that dude felt comfortable pressing Biden, and the reason that it was caught on video, is because Biden telling that hispanic dude to vote for Trump was a media spectacle. It literally opened up the floodgates.
