Bernie isn’t my first choice so what does he have to do with it? And who cares that it isn’t current policy, it’s a legacy of a terrible policy
and high level, don’t like his responses/takes on: reparations, assault weapons, college costs and student debt, boosting military spending, keeping troops deployed, paid family leave, corporate taxes, nuclear energy (although I’m torn over this myself), basically wanting to continue to subsidize big ag, no commitment to breaking up modern day trusts and monopolies

Why would we trust the judgment of people who thought the crime bill would be good despite objections and then when it's effect on the black community was realized didn't do everything possible to overturn it and then give recourse to those harmed?
Do you realize that this is a democratic republic? If you don't do what your constituents want you to do then you will get voted out. That's literally what this democracy was built for.
