this is a forward thinking move. he did that so hopefully his daughter won't have to go through that. she can invest more in retirement, buy a starter home for her future kids, or simply do nice shyt for herself by not having to pay loans for decades or save tens of thousands just to send her future kids to school. who wouldn't want that?

He might be assed out if he paid all his college debt. Depending on how the debt relief is structured his "buddy" may not get off totally scott free, especially if he made no attempts to ever repay any of the mythical loans he had.

I don’t think Barry will say anything until he has to endorse the nominated candidate.

He literally said he wasn't getting involved the the primaries, so IMO these rumors that he's going to come out against Bernie shouldn't be taken seriously.

Whatever you think of his politics Obama is an intelligent man and I'm sure he knows doing something like that would tear the Democratic Party apart.

Sanders and Warren voters have astonishingly little in common

Warren and Sanders are Not Splitting the Progressive Vote

They aren’t the same people.

Warren’s numbers surged while Kamala declines. Warren’s poll numbers dip while Buttigieg’s number rise. Why is that? Especially since Bernie’s numbers have always been consistent and we have seen a rise recently while Biden is declining.

I have been saying this whenever people here talk about Bernie and Liz “splitting the progressive vote.” They don’t have the same voting bloc.

He should be thankful that his daughter will have a better life than him - when she has a kid who wants to go to college.

And he should be thankful that the working and middle class will have more money to spend on wherever he works and in the town where he lives - so he can enjoy the fruits of a growing economy - rather than being smothered by debt that is not dischargeable in bankruptcy, which stifles growth and creates conditions ripe for deflation and depression.

There is no half-ass in this election. Make him understand the reality of the economy as it exists today. Too many are oblivious to how bad it is for most Americans. How medical and educational debt are stifling real growth and prosperity in this country.

Then again so many cacs in this country are soulless so it's impossible for them to feel empathy for others.
